What I Really Think

Two Witches with Different Stories

I’ve known two witches in my life, maybe a good one and a bad one. Thinking they might both be right with different agendas. One says I came back here after 400 years to compensate for bad I did. The other says when you die horribly you come back 30 years later and do what you can.

The possibly bad one was called “The Witch of Yellow Springs,” which is in Ohio, where Antioch College continues its long slow Sixties rot. The air there still reeks of marijuana and patchouli. Her story is that I came back willingly after 400 years to make up for bad things I did as a Scottish warlord. I can see that.

The possibly good one was a devotee of Seth, the personality channeled by Jane Roberts in Elmira, New York. She said I died a bloody death in World War I and had to come back because I wasn’t done fighting the forces of evil. I can see that too.

I don’t have a problem with the coming back part. I felt that very early in my life.
