Rasmussen Now in the Tank for the Biden Administration?

Really weird stuff going on at the Rasmussen polling site. Since inauguration he has had Biden at a dead-consistent 49 to 50 percent approval rating among “likely voters,” including 50 percent approval for the first full month of the Biden presidency. And yet... the issues and confidence polling is all way underwater for Democrats. 55 percent oppose DC statehood, 54 percent oppose transgender participation in women’s sports, his “Immigration Index”whatever that is, is suddenly falling quickly, suggesting that voters want Biden control of illegals increased, consumer confidence in the economy has been falling steadily since December, and less than 40 percent of voters believe the country is on the right track. More than half of voters disapprove of AOC, and only 70+ percent think Biden is setting the administration agenda, with the media in second place (!) and Congress in third. But Joe is doing a good enough job... right. Other Rasmussen Reports (RR) are just strange. More than 50 per...

The Grade for Biden-Era Conservative News Outlets? ‘F’.

In the weeks since the Hundred Days were up, I’ve been checking in on the few remaining news sources who are supposed to be telling us the truth. Mostly, we’re talking Breitbart, Newsmax, OAN, and Rasmussen Polling. Here at InstaPunk Returns, we’ve been tweaking the nose of Rasmussen in particular, whose daily polling of presidential approval consistently gives Biden a 50+ approval rating, without ever telling us who exactly is being polled, how, and on what rotating or other basis to ensure that they aren’t just ‘Old Reliables’ who answer the phone. Other polling subjects seem to indicate profound displeasure in the electorate on a wide range of issues and policies being pursued by the Biden administration. But the Rasmussen site does nothing to explain the discrepancies between these issue-oriented polling results and the seeming presidential approval flatline. So that flatline’s a joke and we’ve treated it as such. OAN is just boring. A lame website format and no substance other tha...

Rasmussen’s Legendary “Luvvies”

Image
As it turned out Señor Rasmussen wasn’t really joking about his castle. Since his polling firm was acquired by a joint venture of George Soros* and the Bilderberger Group, the retired pollster had managed to acquire quite the estate on Long Island. It’s called Rassmassa Estate for some reason. The event he had organized was by way of a lifetime thank you to the veteran corps of “Likely Voters” (nicknamed ‘LVs’ or more familiarly, ‘Luvvies’) who participated in constant presidential approval polls over a great many years. They had become a major component of his professional reputation, and now that he was passing them on to the new owners and no longer touched base with them himself anymore, the aging pollster wanted to say thanks and probably goodbye. In their honor he had also invited an old friend, Mike Pence, to do an official greeting and a folksy press-the-flesher for about 10 minutes. Not everyone recognized him. Some thought he was Clinton, some Romney, some Biden, and a few (n...

TEMU Mary’s in MAGA clothing

Image
Who’s in charge of building the American ‘woman’ of the future? Everyone knows what TEMU is, right? Even I know what TEMU is, and I don’t have anything to do with TikTok. How can that be? I don’t even associate with the CCP-friendly mass media. But I do know and I’ll explain why. For those a little bit farther behind the curve, this is TEMU: Companies like TEMU are the reason why Trump is taking a harder line against China than every other treacherous trading partner of the United States. The Wall Street media crowd is actively hoping for a recession to cool Trump’s jets on the tariff thing. They can’t afford to lose the enormous subsidy their publications receive from Chinese advertisers. Anything is preferable to losing those big big bucks in a period when the suckers are no longer willing to read libels against themselves by paying to see behind a pay wall. The crisis of the Trump tariff policy (that’s “Trade War” in NYTspeak) is hitting TEMU too.. Oh. Right. The crisis is higher pr...

The Real Impact of the Mueller Investigation

Image
Rasmussen Tracking Poll. See March 2 and April 4 . The graph above should be truly alarming for both Democrats and the fly-eating Renfield clone known as the mass media. All the pundits on both sides are talking through their hats. Dems are wrong about the significance of Trump not getting a big bump in the polls after the ‘No New Indictments’ finding of the Mueller Report. They think this is because people still believe that Trump did something nasty and wrong and are just waiting for Congress to pick up the fallen standard and charge the Trump stronghold. Wrong. Republican pundits think the positive poll impact for Trump will be significant but gradual, as the cobwebs and confusing congressional clutter are slowly swept away. Wrong. The Rasmussen polling indicates only one thing and does so repeatedly, whether you accept the level at which he pegs Trump support or not. His is the only daily tracking poll, so it’s the best source for observing trends and long-term chan...

Rasmussen’s Likely Voters Still as Likely as Ever

Image
Yes. 46 percent of his hand-picked eggheads still approve of Biden’s performance as President: Friday, August 20, 2021 The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll, sponsored by The ANTIFA by Jack Posobiec, for Friday shows that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Biden’s job performance. Fifty-three percent (53%) disapprove. The latest figures include 27% who Strongly Approve of the job Biden is doing and 45% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18. (see trends)

It Doesn’t Matter.

Where you all are. Thinking you know what you know not of.  “I know...” And most of you aren’t even mad. At least Metallica  was mad.  Like my punk writers of South Street. ( Bands.7.1-9. ) Have I ever mentioned that people are stupid? How we got into this death spiral? Today, Rasmussen reports that 49 percent of likely voters approve of Biden’s performance, up from 48 percent yesterday. Only problem being, other Rasmussen issue-specific polls show majority opposition (sometimes heavily) against what Biden has done in his showboating first few days. Think I’m lying? Go here  and read all the sidebars. Just today, Biden has decided Gitmo terrorists should receive COVID vaccinations. Ahead of most ordinary plebeian Americans. He’s also approved a change in the dress code for the U.S. military. In the interests of diversity, he’s decided that women should look more like chicks — earrings, lipstick, painted fingernails, and unfettered hair (especially girl-smelling pony...

The Treason Layer of Elite Rulers of the United State

Image
The CHYOS Club  (Pronounced kīos, abbreviated ‘kos, meaning MR ) American Illuminati? We’ve all heard the legends of secret societies. The Renaissance story of the ‘Illuminati’ who rule the world as gray eminences behind the scenes is a legend unsupported by facts or, at any rate, evidence. We also know of outright hoaxes widely believed in, like the Priory of Sion made famous by admittedly fictitious Dan Brown novels and movies. But we also know that there are secret societies at every level of elite life. Who hasn’t heard dark whispers of Yale’s Skull & Bones, numbering the Bushes and John Kerry as members? At the international level, the Freemasons are a proven fact, even if their Illuminati-like influence is only widely believed in the UK, with its historical paranoia about Scotland, where freemasonry re-emerges as a follow-on to the Knights Templar. Great fun, mostly. Who doesn’t thrill to news about Bill schmoozing in the dark at the Bilderberger Group? Conspiracy? All t...

A Quick Snapshot of Where We Stand After 100 Days of Biden

Image
With an operatic crescendo of show trial justice in Minnesota, the first hundred days of Biden came to a dramatic close yesterday with the President and Maxine Waters arm-twisting the Chauvin jury into an oxymoron triple Guilty verdict that has already led to renewed street protesting by the left wing faithful. Dershowitz called the DC interference, “not just a thumb but an elbow on the scales of justice.” Surely, more arson and looting and vandalism will be on hand in days to come.  We’ll be talking about this and other “accomplishments” of the new administration, but for now we’ll offer only the following thumbnail view of this moment of the timeline. A quick glance at the graphic above should suffice to illustrate an odd phenomenon of the Hundred Days. Biden continues to receive honeymoon treatment in the approval ratings while almost all his new policies are receiving quite negative treatment among “Likely Voters.” Again, this a subject for another day, but it does make me won...

Rasmussen Update Still Defying Logic

The Games Pollsters Play

Image
It’s a mistake to think we don’t have to worry ourselves about polls until the 2026 midterm campaigns begin in earnest. They’re being used right now to fill the gaps left by the news mass media doesn’t want to cover or investigate in any depth. What are people thinking about this and that? What should you be thinking if you’re one of the smart ones? Are you thinking what we want you to think yet? I recently stumbled across a good example of how the polling game is played, even on what is supposed to be friendly turf. A source we can look at without the fingerprints of WAPO, the NYT, NPR, YouVote, Morning Consult, 538, Quinnipiac, or even Rasmussen (whom I have beaten on plenty for several years). It’s my habit to be wary of the “nose under the tent” phenomenon. Even rampaging MAGA strongholds like Real America’s Voice (RAV) can be manipulated on a fairly regular basis. Why I’ve been hard on Breitbart for their continual publishing of interviews with old, retired, out-of-office na...
