By early 2020, it was becoming obvious to everyone but rank-and-file Democrats that there was something seriously wrong with Joe Biden. (See Part 1 .) Sometimes he seemed not to know where he was, he appeared to lose his train of thought in mid-sentence, he was often aggressive or insulting to members of his audiences, he had evident problems reading teleprompter copy, and at times he sounded utterly incoherent. Government types love talking in alphabet code, particularly when it comes to VIPs, which makes it easier to joke about them without underlings catching on. As Vice President, Joe Biden was a popular target for such opaque japery. The Secret Service called him BOR for ‘Box of Rocks,’ the White House staff dubbed him NBB for ‘Not the Brightest Bulb,’ and the NSA/CIA/FBI crowd referred to him simply as PJ, short for Pervy Joe. At the NSA, though, Biden’s sobriquet suddenly changed sometime in 2012, when he became WEE, translated by anonymous sources as the ‘Wandering Evil Eye.’ There’s an important story behind this. We all know how skillfully the media protect their images and résumés. But what is their real lineage exactly? When people look around for potential ancestors of the Biden-Harris administration, they try to cobble together approximations of past figures and situations that still command historical Democrat affection. The Democrats are the only ones who nominate women to the two top offices.
