The “W” File from Moon Books
Good ol’ W has put himself back in the news recently, bemoaning the plight of Afghans whose escape route to America via the Biden EZ-Pass might come unglued. A man’s got to have his priorities.
Anyhow, I was reminded by his return to the public eye that I had an orphan piece about his 43ness floating around somewhere in the electronic ether I live in. There was a place called Shuteye Town 1999, in which there was a mall store called Moon Books, in which there was a book for sale titled ‘Loving Ameria 2’ by George Hubert Walker Chevy Snaffle Adidas Bush IV.
You had to use your video game savvy to get inside Moon Books w/o getting arrested thiugh…

The Bore Backgrounder exists too. Still needs formatting…
For more than 50 of the books sold at Moon, you could click on titles and see the front and back covers. For a lot of those, there was also a representative text sample and background on the writers. Unfortunately, Internet life has been complicated for ST99, and at some point the best working version got separated from these text/background files. They have survived, however, and are stored hither and yon in various archives, some of them needing format reconstruction to be made whole again. A couple of these are now preserved here at IPR for confirmation of what I’m telling you (see here and here). Quite a few are still waiting in line for restoration. When I make the time or get a good poke in the ribs from current events.
What happened here. I’ll explain that part at the end of the post. Right now, I can show you the current status of the Bush book…
Finally pieced it back together, so I’m going to stash it here for safekeeping. It’s called “Loving Ameria 2,” the Background File on the Author.”
The first page of the pdf file
It even includes some of the famous art he made after he retired to his ranch down home in Texas:
Most importantly perhaps, because of the Punk City Time Machine, there are also some quotes from the book he was trying to write about his Presidency during the years he was hiding from the press in his second term. Hot stuff, I guarantee.
There was a song as well, one from the President’s album of vocals, another hobby he took up in his Lone Star golden age. The pdf contains a YouTube link to the single from that album, which just happed to turn up in connection with a Bush attempt to cover for his great friend Joe Biden on the Afghanistan disaster. That didn’t work out very well, since Breitbarf apparently posted the wrong clip of Bush’s Afghan interview. Or did they? You be the Judge. (Which just happens to be the up and coming elite sport for Democrats who are too old to make asses of themselves playing pickleball. The new sport enables you to put on Judge’s robes and pretend you’re the President and Commander-in-Chief of U.S, military assets. Who knew that could be so much fun for the infirm of all ages?
The song we mentioned? Right here:
Is that it for “W”? Not quite. Before I put the Moon Books piece back together, I gave him his own nostalgia post here at IPR. Also fun. Called “Stuff about GeorgeW, Bush from 20-some Years ago.”
If you care he made it into our post on Presidential rankings too.
