There was always a Precipice of Destruction, Updated 8/5/20

Image
Hiroshima, August 6, 1945. The day the Baby Boom began, in the flesh . August 6, 1945. First Babe of the Boom. The Book of Willie . When Harry was a child he thought as a  child, and decided never to change. When he was 22 Harry bought himself a Rolls Royce. And a Learjet. Then he became a megastar. He had his own  church,  by gar. Which predicted everything . Then something bad happened. He got arrested, tried, convicted, and sentenced to death. Right before he escaped. After three days. But someone died on his account. Her name was Marisa . He retired thereafter to Rio. We DO know the celebrity guest list  was long at his 40th B’day. The twin towers on the balcony? That’s a whole other question .   What life is like. Even for messiahs. What’s not clear is that Harry even attended his 40th Birthday Party . We can be reasonably sure he didn’t die, because we’d have heard about it, just as we did with Es...

The Eve of Destruction, 7/26/20 Update

Image
We’re approaching the 75th anniversary of a world-changing event. Haven’t seen or heard anyone else talking about it, but it’s coming upon us and we will be talking about it here, perhaps in ways you don’t expect. The song above is from 1965, 20 years after a critical event that already had its three-quarter-century anniversary ten days ago. July 16, 1945. Trinity Test. Coincidentally or not, there’s yet another anniversary being celebrated this very day. On July 26th, which it now is, Mick Jagger turns 77, and the recording below dates from 1970, which is 50 years ago and almost exactly 25 years after Trinity and, you know. Are these meaningless markings of years? You be the judge.

Thing Three — the Nazi Thing (a.k.a. the Master Race)

Image
Forget this graphic. That’s just some disinformation to fool  Facebook censors. It’s the next one you want to bear in mind. Antifa Mugshots Time for Thing Three. The Nazi Factor. There’s a whole army of pundits out there who have figured out that Antifa is not anti-fascist at all but pure, true-blue fascist. They even dress the part. But none of the genius observers have connected the dead-obvious dots. Antifa is not just a lot like the Nazis. They are straight-up Nazis, with just one sly twist that’s fooling everyone apparently. See, the smart people have all been educated by liberals who were taught the Big Lie that Hitler’s Germany was right wing, not left wing. They think this because German nationalism lies at the heart of the Third Reich’s creed. They think. That’s why every Republican appeal to patriotism in the last three quarters of a century has been interpreted by the American left as fascism, Hitlerian without any apology for making the co...

Thing Two — The Black Bloc

Image
Yeah. Seen them in the schoolyard, not in Detroit. Does your heart good.  Thing Two — Do Black People Matter? This whole Black Lives Matter thing. More than any other group of lives, right? You can get fired (or stoned) for saying that ALL lives matter. Which means black people are some kind of sacred bloc, right? It’s like the black bloc is some large piece on a game board and it has the power of the Queen in chess. Wherever it moves it automatically takes out some other piece(s). Kill the White King, and the Black Queen will be free. Why? How so? Except they’re not really a bloc, are they? No way I can put Duane and Henry and Emma and Esther and Hushel and every other black person I know or knew into one game piece-sized, pixelated, videogame  assault weapon. Actually, the only way I could perform such a sleight of hand is by erasing all the individual distinctions between them. They are just black and their identity is a group function, consisting of sha...

Three Things to Talk About — Thing One Being Feminism’s 3rd Wave

Image
Caption for Sixties photo: “In Defense of Marxism.” What they all wanted always, Somebody to tell them and everyone else what to do. And, you know, give them stuff, Begin at the beginning they always say. This first time the thing we need to talk about is American women. The National Women’s Soccer League team takes a  knee and sports BLM shirts at its most recent game. See, I wrote this back at Facebook: <<I’ve got three major essays from perspectives nobody’s offered. Because you’re all so much smarter (dumber) and better (sadly illiterate) writers than I am. Without the 20 points I shave off my IQ with Gilbey’s, I’d be just like every UniParty writer in DC and NYC. My upcoming scoops... 1) Why women are to blame for White Privilege 2) Why Black People Matter 3) Why Right Wingers Really Are Nazis (not really)>> You have to understand. I’ve been a political seer for close to 50 years now. I’m mostly always right. I’ve said I do...

When the Left Hand Doesn’t Know What the Left Hand is Doing

Image
My sendups of Beavis and Butthead in Shuteye Town 1999 occur  in multiple parts of the site and include a complete episode of the show in a college dorm room at the subway stop Schoolz Station . Now here’s a funny thing. Just found out FaceBook has banned a third complete website of mine. Sort of. You see, you can get to the site from my About page, where the full web address for jdoe99.simplesite.com is included and is fully functional through FB itself, except that inside FB the back button does not work and just returns you to the About page. Fine. This censorship mountain is a slippery one to climb, and an even slipperier one to fall off of onto your Face. If you know what I mean. What is not fine is that any attempt to link the site in a post or comment results only in this: Why the only way I can get you to the “Zeezer and Zithead Show” is to ask you to click on this and then click on the green Button at the bottom of each screen to keep watching: ...

Enough is Enough — The History of an Evolving Falsehood

Image
What follows is an excerpt from a longer piece I wrote for an old blog of mine called Gloves Off. It remains critically relevant to what we see transpiring in the leftist assault on our nation in July 2020. ********** Friday, September 19, 2003 Enough is enough. It's time to recognize what Democrats call political debate for what it is: vicious, unprincipled demagoguery that provides aid and comfort to the enemies of the United States. I am by no means a kneejerk defender of the policies of the Bush administration. I believe there are many issues about which reasonable people can disagree, and I believe the country would benefit from a civil airing of competing ideas about how best to deal with the challenges we face. That is not what is occurring now. If there was a straw that broke the camel's back, it was Andrew Greeley's column in today's issue of the Chicago Sun-Times.
