This opener was followed by a series of Comments expressing agreement and/or gratitude for the finding. When I decided to make it less than completely unanimous.

OK. So I spent four years with the Lakota Indians on the South Dakota reservation sharing time with Leonard CrowDog who was able to read my thoughts on several occasions. Yes, I was sober. Yes he repeated to me the exact words I was thinking privately (as he chuckled at my horrified face). As a western man of science I tried to understand how this was anything more than coincidence. How was it that this shaman was able to reach in and take my private thoughts from me? He acknowledged he was doing it. Said he learned English by listening to thoughts. I felt like a kid outside the candy store who would never be able to get inside. But once you are shown something it becomes infinitely easier to do it yourself.
