PsychoPatriarchy My Ass
FTA: <<For those of us who have spent our lives trying to dismantle this endlessly destructive paradigm of patriarchy, it has become increasingly clear in recent months that something more terrifying is afoot.
The wheels are off the cart. We are in the midst of a chaotic, demented acceleration of the most violent and cruel aspects of this system which has evolved into what I am calling Psychopatriarchy.
Psychopatriarchy is a reaction, a backlash against the progress we have made on all fronts: women’s rights, civil rights, immigrant rights, workers rights, trans rights etc.
It has birthed an authoritarian fascist reality, poisoning our social and psychological environment with terrorizing violence, cruelty and precarity. It has consolidated the billionaire class who are driven by the mindset summed up in the slogan “move fast and break things.” Or, one might say, grab things, rape things.
Psychopatriarchy is found in the 12 people who own more money than half the population on Earth, in the systems of oppression, surveillance and violence which become more and more sophisticated and widespread, in the few mainly white men with extreme wealth and power who are now merged with the government and own the systems of communication, AI, police or state militias like ICE…>>
I’m sure you can fill in the rest on your own…
Here was my response at Facebook:
Who is ‘V’? She is most famous as the 2006 author of The Vagina Monologues, called by Christopher Isherwood of the NYT “probably the most important piece of political theater in the last decade.” Born into an affluent family of religiously mixed (Jewish-Christian) parentage as Eve Ensler, she claims her early upbringing featured sexual and physical abuse by her Jewish father, but went on to attend socially prestigious Middlebury College (Tucker Carlson's alma mater), then to a life of writing and feminist activism. In short, she has issues. The religious mix has its precedents in the lives of lefty activists. In men, it seems to result in soft-pedaled altruistic atheism (Bill Maher), in women a fervent Joan of Arc commitment to female emancipation (Gloria Steinem).
For my purposes, the rest of her biography is only a sidebar.
Indeed, most of this post is homework for all of you. I’ve compiled a lot of data culled from Google’s AI research gofer in the section called BELOW THE FOLD.
I’m already abundantly on record with regard to the largely American-led feminist movement. A list of my relevant posts and links is provided at the end of the Below the Fold section.
All I have to add above the fold is my conviction that the feminist movement has now been demonstrated to be an abject failure. The ascendancy of DEI is all the proof we need. It’s been a hundred years-plus since women got the vote, and their progress has been as dismal in real (as opposed to titular) accomplishment as it has been stunningly successful in the media narratives about it. All that remains to be done in Progressive terms is election of a DEI female as President.
Women outnumber men in the professional schools and as recently as the Biden administration have significantly outnumbered men in a cabinet positions and government legal appointments. They outnumber men in the U.S. Senate and are close to being half of the Democrat membership in the House. During the Biden administration, 63 percent of confirmed federal judicial confirmations were female. At present the runaway leader in polling on the Democrat side of the aisle is former VP Kamala Harris.
But ‘V’ and many angry women who agree with her believe that the stereotypical toxic male is making a tyrannical comeback and will soon return women to the semi-slavery that characterized their American lives for so long.
Hmmm.
Time for…

Below the Fold
This won’t all be pretty in format. Lots of screenshots here, some breaks that won’t match up for size because of the way the blog software works. But there’s a lot of information packed into the image files that may contradict what you believe is true of American lives, female and male both.
I’ll be asking a few questions along the way, occasionally predisposing answers based on hard data but also inviting you to do more digging and analysis on your own.

A final iotum to think about: More men die on the job every year in this country than all the women serial killers have murdered in a hundred years.
